Potanin says eyes raising stake in Russia’s Norilsk Nickel

LONDON, Nov 19 (PRIME) -- Holding Interros belonging to Vladimir Potanin sees shares of Russian metals producer Norilsk Nickel as an attractive asset and plans to raise his stake in the company, Potanin told PRIME on Monday.

“We think that shares of Norilsk Nickel are a good investment. There is no special target to raise (the stake) but when there is such mood on the market and some investors quit, we gladly add the shares to our portfolio. We have about 34% now,” Potanin said.

Interros has 34.15% in Norilsk Nickel, aluminum giant RUSAL of Oleg Deripaska owns a 27.82% stake.
